Civil society advocacy on reproductive, maternal and child health (RMCH)

WHO organised a technical consultation (in Switzerland, May 2012) to identify selected strategies, tactics and practices in conducting and evaluating civil society advocacy on RMCH.

MannionDaniels has supported WHO with analysing and disseminating the forward-looking actions that arose from the technical consultation, with the aim of contributing to future advocacy activities by civil society advocacy organisations, particularly those in Asia and Africa.  These advocacy activities are particularly pertinent given the recent UN’s Global Strategy for Women’s and Children’s Health, and the Commission on Information and Accountability for Women’s and Children’s Health.
