Mid-term review of the Research & Advocacy Fund (RAF), Pakistan

The Research & Advocacy Fund (RAF) is a grant-making facility that promotes research and effective advocacy practice in the area of maternal and newborn health in Pakistan (www.rafpakistan.org).

It is jointly funded by DFID and AusAID, and provides grants to various non-governmental organisations, governmental institutions, private organisations and universities to improve policy and practice on MNH in Pakistan.

MannionDaniels conducted the mid-term review of the RAF, specifically examining areas of: delivered outputs and outcomes using the log frame for analysis; social issues with a focus on gender and poverty; institutional and implementation issues; and value for money analysis looking at economy, effectiveness and efficiency.  The mid-term review presented options for moving forward for the RAF.
