Planning for technical assistance in the Ghana Adolescent Reproductive Health program

MannionDaniels’ consultant, Birte Holme Sorenson, worked on a short-term technical assignment with the Futures Group Europe in Ghana.  The Ghana Adolescent Reproductive Health programme (GHARH), funded by DFID, has an overall strategy to strengthen the capacity of its grantees at both national and district levels.  MannionDaniels conducted an assessment of capacity-needs of grantees in close consultation with GHARH and district-level stakeholders. The results are in line with other commonly-observed capacity gaps at district level reproductive health, namely:  issues of district-level funding flow, how to reach out of school youth, and addressing both the social and health needs of youth.
