Project Operations Manager

Do you have excellent project management skills and experience of implementing contract compliance and quality systems and processes? Do you have a strong interest in working in international development with an understanding of fund management? This role will give you the opportunity to work autonomously on a range of interesting and varied projects to support our agenda of continuous improvement and transparency.

This is a new position and requires someone with strong operational experience to take the lead on rolling out new operational processes and procedures, ensuring consistency of reporting, coherent monitoring and providing advice and training to team members. The role supports contract compliance across our whole portfolio of funds and projects, as well as proposal development for new opportunities.

You will need to have:

  • at least 3 years’ experience of project management within an operations, logistics or procurement setting, including implementing contract compliance and quality systems and processes
  • ideally already have worked in an international development or NGO setting
  • experience of working within a culture of continuous improvement, and of auditing and analysing standard operating procedures.
  • excellent attention to detail and able to work proactively and independantly
