Technical Adviser – UK Aid Direct

UK Aid Direct is a 5-year, £150 million programme, currently changing the lives of over 3 million of the world’s poorest people with UK aid from the UK Government. The Technical Adviser is a member of the core fund management team with responsibility for the technical delivery and technical quality within the fund.

The Technical Adviser will work closely with the Deputy Fund Director, and with members of the consortium to coordinate and oversee the technical delivery of the fund management and of the CSO grant holders.

You will need to have:

  • Significant experience of working in a similar arena with considerable knowledge and experience of working with the Department for International Development (DFID)
  • Demonstrable experience of having applied DFID’s approach to project management and the project review process
  • Delivered technical support and strategic direction to civil society organisations
  • Excellent team skills with the ability to work independently and also very collaboratively with the wider MannionDaniels’ team based in the UK and globally
  • Clear and influential technical writing and oral communication skills in English
