New Vacancy – Communications Officer

Communications Officer

 We are looking to grow and strengthen our communications team to improve the support we offer to our grantees. The successful applicant would have responsibility for building communications channels and creating content related to the main funds, as well as carrying out more general duties, under the direction and support of the Communications Manager.

This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent attention to detail and creative flair to join our friendly team in Bath. You will have the opportunity to gain experience developing of a wide range of communications resources and get involved with a major international aid fund focused on reducing global poverty.

You will need to have:

  • Excellent copy writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex information into plain English
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of a broad range of communications tools, specifically content and design for websites, developing case studies, brand identity, social media, corporate briefings, press releases and copy writing.
  • Proven ability to think creatively with an excellent eye for design
  • Extremely accurate attention to detail and exceptional standards of written English
