Deputy Fund Director – Help support the delivery of UK aid

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced international development manager to join our team delivering on two of DFID’s high profile, high performing civil society funds; UK Aid Direct and UK Aid Match. MannionDaniels is the lead organisation in a consortium of partners managing both funds.

This is a senior level role for an experienced project manager with sound knowledge of DFID contracts and experience of delivering successful poverty reduction programmes in civil society programmes.

Working closely with the Fund Director, the position is key to ensuring the successful direction and performance of the funds, working with a delivery team across both funds within MannionDaniels and consortium partners. Applicants will need to demonstrate appropriate communication skills and experience of working closely with donors in order to successfully manage regular external donor meetings and successful collaboration.

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience of successfully managing projects within an NGO, CSO or humanitarian focused environment
  • Knowledge and experience of grant performance management, including risk, evaluation and monitoring strategies to address issues
  • The ability to work at senior management level, having successfully lead both internal and external teams
  • Considerable experience of managing contracts and partner relationships, ideally with DFID

The position may be based in either London or Bath and is a permanent, full time role.
