Project Support Officer (UK Aid Funds)

£22,000-£26,500 + Benefits

Due to organic growth, we are seeking to appoint a Project Support Officer to work across both our UK Aid Direct and UK Aid Match funds.  In this newly created role, the successful candidate will provide support to the Project Manager alongside general office administration for the London team.

Passionate about international development or fund management and already experienced in setting up, administering and coordinating projects, you will be confident in providing operational and administrative support to our fund management process.

Duties will range from:

  • Assisting in the preparation and management of new grant calls and responding to queries from potential applicants through management of inboxes and by telephone
  • Coordinating all funding round related workshops and webinars
  • Reporting and analysing information from internal teams
  • Supporting the Project Manager with the procurement process of external consultants and managing contract files
  • Coordinate the logistical arrangements for meetings, staff travel and accommodation
  • Working with the Office Manager to maintain compliance with health and safety alongside other duties
  • Any other ad hoc administrative or project support tasks

You will need to have:

  • Experience of assisting in project coordination in a professional business environment
  • Strong office administration, working with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to create, implement and analyse operating procedures
  • Provide excellent communication and client management
  • Be able to prioritise a varied workload and work under pressure
  • Thrive in a busy working environment working with diverse teams
  • The capability to use own initiative to problem solving
  • Experienced and confident in using Microsoft packages and online management/database systems
