MannionDaniels shares first B Corp Impact Report

Posted: 17/03/2023

In 2020, MannionDaniels underwent a rigorous assessment of our social and environmental performance to be certified as a B Corp. The findings of this assessment provided a transparent view of our business while also showing us where we can further reduce our social and environmental impacts. Ahead of our re-certification assessment in 2023, we have developed our first MannionDaniels B-Corp Impact Report 2022 covering our performance for 2022 and plans to improve our score in 2023.

Our current B Corp score is currently 100.4 out of 200 across the five B-Corp pillars of governance, environment, workers, community, and customers. Most businesses score between 40 and 100, with 80 points required to become certified. In our 2023 recertification assessment, we are aiming for a B-Corp Impact score of above 110.

In our MannionDaniels B-Corp Impact Report 2022 we outline some of the key social and environmental initiatives that we plan to take forward to continually improve our performance as a force for good. For example, in 2023 we will continue to work through our internal environmental champions group to drive continuous environmental improvements, we will start engaging our key suppliers on improving their sustainability, and are introducing a volunteer day for staff. In 2022 we also expanded our overall business model to support other organisations in reducing their impacts on the planet under our new service called mdsustain. The service goes beyond carbon and supports organisations to integrate environmental sustainability more holistically across their operations.

We will continue to share a few of our B Corp Impact Report highlights throughout the month of March in celebration of being an environmental and socially responsible company for B Corp Month.
