Peter Mwita Fiduciary Risk ManagerPeter is based in MannionDaniels’ Nairobi office, Kenya, where he works as the Fiduciary Risk Manager. Peter’s role is to provide leadership and oversight across the grants portfolio, ensuring the fiduciary risk management strategy is implemented and that fiduciary risk and due diligence work streams are proactively managed. A seasoned Finance and Systems Control Advisor with strong cross-cultural interpersonal skills developed for 11 years in Africa and Asia, Peter has specialist knowledge in finance, systems control, governance and compliance. Peter has professional experience in both private and non-profit organisations, having served in a number of positions including, Assistant Accountant for Samburu Serena Lodge, Internal Auditor for Serena Hotels, Internal Auditor for Sarova Hotels, Regional Internal Auditor for Mozambique and Madagascar for the Aga Khan Foundation and Global Co-ordinator for Internal Audit Activities for the Agha Khan Foundation. Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce – Finance degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and is a Certified Public Accountant with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
