Tari Masamvu, Performance and Risk Manager

Tari Masamvu Performance and Risk Manager, UK Aid DirectTari is based in the London office of MannionDaniels and is the Performance and Risk Manager for UK Aid Direct. UK Aid Direct is DFID’s central funding mechanism for awarding grants to small and medium sized UK and International Civil Society Organisations working to reduce poverty overseas and achieve the Global Goals. Tari has over 12 years’ experience working in international development, professional education and logistics. She began her career as a Business Analyst for global supply chain management company, UTi Worldwide, in South Africa and has since worked for organisations such as Mott MacDonald/HLSP, the Overseas Development Institute in London, youth mentoring social enterprise startup, iRock, and most recently as a Research Programme Manager for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Through her diverse professional background, Tari has managed a large portfolio of projects on behalf of international donors such as DFID, WHO and the UN. Tari has specialist skills in programme and grant management, stakeholder engagement, bid preparation, business development, research, mentoring and training. Tari has worked in both South Africa and Zimbabwe, she is a PRINCE 2 practitioner and holds an MSc in International Business from Lancaster University, alongside a B.Com Honours in Information Systems from Rhodes University, South Africa.
