Abt Associates

The Partnerships for Transforming the Health System (PATHS2) project involves an International Consortium, led by Abt Associates. MannionDaniels leads on public health communications and also supports work on aid effectiveness.

Action For Global Health

The AFGH is an Alliance of organisations enagaged in tracking the aid effectiveness agenda in the health sector. It’s publication “Healthy Aid” was supported, researched and drafted by MannionDaniels.

AMREF

MannionDaniels has provided business advice to AMREF as it explores its strategic plans and market opportunities for the next few years. UNAIDS Technical Support Facility for Eastern Africa (TSF) – managed by AMREF, this technical assistance group has contracted MannionDaniels to work on HIV/AIDS and strategic technical assistance in Tanzania.

AusAID

The Australian Government’s overseas development agency (AusAID) requested MannionDaniels’s support for the design of their Heath Resource Centre (HRC), and also to support the assessment and selection of a contractor for their Education Resource Centre (ERC).

AusAID Health Resource Facility

MannionDaniels is supporting AusAID and the government on the design of Phase 2 of the Indonesia Health Systems Strengthening programme.

Cambridge Education, MottMacDonald Group

MannionDaniels and Cambridge Education are working on an ‘in-school health issues’ project as part of the UK Government programmes (ESSPIN and PATHS2). A joint assessment of in- and out-of-school youth has been undertaken.

Constella Futures Group

Support from MannionDaniels technical team has been provided for the China HIV/AIDS programme funded by DFID. The programme provides a technical resource facility to the Chinese authorities.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

The China MoH-Gates TB Project is piloting a range of innovations for improving TB control in China with a focus on improved treatment and care for MDR-TB patients. MannionDaniels has supported the design of a results-based Measurement, Learning and Evaluation Plan.

GAVI Alliance

MannionDaniels is providing support to better define GAVI’s engagement with the aid effectiveness agenda.

The Global Fund for the Fight Against AIDS, TB & Malaria (GFATM)

The GF is working with GAVI and the World Bank to establish a new Health System Strengthening Platform. MannionDaniels has been requested by the Policy and Strategy Division to provide country perspectives and insights to guide the process.

The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation

MannionDaniels was contracted to support a performance review of European NGOs in reproductive health who are grantees of the Foundation.

DFID Health Resource Centre

A MannionDaniels technical adviser was contracted to lead a team that reviewed the Health Policy Support Project of the Chinese Ministry of Health. The project was geared to supporting the development of the China Health Reforms.

Health Partners International (HPI)

The China Rural Health Support Project provides technical support to the wider rural reform programme of the Chinese Government. This project, supported by DFID, is led by HPI and includes MannionDaniels and the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) as partners.

International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF)

IPPF and MannionDaniels organised a Policy Roundtable at Ston Easton, Somerset. The Roundtable debated the importance of population issues in the emerging issues of climate change, food security and global health and social care.

Institute for Global Health, Peking University

A MannionDaniels advisor has been seconded to support the development of the Institute for Global Health, as well as the establishment of global health research and traning capacity, especially in the area of China-led South-South Collaboration with selected African countries. IGH has been a key institution involved in China-Africa Cooperation in Health.

Liverpool Associates in Tropical Health (LATH)

MannionDaniels provided support linked to business development activities at Liverpool Associates in Tropical Health.

 

Population Action International (PAI)

As part of a wider Consortium including PAI, International HIV/AIDS Alliance, Global AIDS Action and IPPF, MannionDaniels has worked with Friends of the GF Africa and IPPF-ARO to develop regional technical assistance capacity.

Royal Tropical Institute, Netherlands (KIT)

The KIT has been developing is strategic plan for the coming years and requested MannionDaniels to facilitate a retreat to discuss opportunities and emerging markets.

Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC)

MannionDaniels has been contracted to support poverty reduction monitoring in Tanzania, and to support the health sector in Tajikistan.

UNAIDS,  (United Nations AIDS Programme)

As part of efforts to support Round 8 GFATM proposals, MannionDaniels has supported the Tanzania CCM and TACAIDS on its HIV/AIDS proposal. Support to UNAIDS technical assistance strategy in Bangladesh has also been provided.

UNDG (United Nations Development Group)

As part of the UN effort to support Paris principles and aid effectivenss at country level, MannionDaniels was asked to support the development of a new Guide for UNCTs on engagement in the changing aid environment.

UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund)

MannionDaniels  developed an innovative web-based programme tracking and reporting system (PTRS) for the RHIYA programme in Asia. Mannion Daniels has facilitated a workshop in Glen Cove, Washington for UNCTs on aid effectiveness.

World Bank

MannionDaniels has been commissioned to provide technical support for the design, implementation and monitoring of World Bank supported programmes in Africa, South Asia and China.

World Health Organisation (WHO)

MannionDaniels are supporting WHO on aid effectiveness issues and work on the IHP+ agenda

WHO EMRO

MannionDaniels is working with WHO EMRO on defining leadership and management capacity needs in South Central Somalia, Somaliland and Puntland.

HEART

HEART (Health and Education Advice and Resource Team) is the DFID funded health sector technical assistance facility managed by Oxford Policy Management.  We have been contracted by HEART to: review the National Health Sector Strategic Plan of Nepal; act as external reviewer for DFID of the Evidence for Action (E4A) Regional programme on reproductive health advocacy; conduct an Annual Review of the DFID Health Sector programme in Kenya.
